Todays photos are from Kathryn (Kit) Jensen.
I garden in a small suburban yard in Zone 6a in northeastern Ohio (South Euclid). During the pandemic it was a focus and is always a wonderful passion. At the time, I added many more plants, bulbs, and rock edging. These are 2022 photos of spring bulbs.
Scilla (Scilla siberica, Zones 4–8) and hyacinths (Hyacinthus orientalis, Zones 4–8)
Hyacinths amid carex (Carex oshimensis, Zones 5–9)
Yellow flowers of Allium moly (Zones 3–9)
Wider view of backyard with narcissus
The nodding, checkered blooms of fritillaries (Fritillaria meleagris, Zones 4–8)
Aconite (Eranthis hyemalis, Zones 4–7) and snowdrops (Galanthus nivalis, Zones 3–7) naturalized at the front-door bed
