2018 Fine Gardening Magazine Subscription Giveaway

PRIZES/VALUE:

 Twenty (20) prizes will be awarded, as follows:

A one-year subscription to Fine Gardening Magazine,

each with an approximate retail value (ARV) of $29.95.

HOW TO ENTER:  To enter the 2018 Fine Gardening Magazine Giveaway (“Giveaway”), post a photo of your garden or favorite plant to your Instagram feed with the hashtag #WinFineGardening and tell us why you want to win a Fine Gardening Magazine subscription. You may enter as many times as you wish.

Entries for the Giveaway will be accepted during the period beginning at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time on February 20, 2018 and ending at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on February 27, 2018 (“Giveaway Entry Period”). All entries must be received during the Giveaway Entry Period. The Giveaway is open only to legal residents of the United States, including its territories and the District of Columbia, and Canada (except Quebec) who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry (“Entrants”).

Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are illegible, mechanically reproduced, mutilated, forged, falsified, altered or tampered with in any way. By entering this Giveaway, you agree to adhere to the terms, policies and guidelines described in these Official Rules and Regulations (“Official Rules”).

Sponsor is not responsible for entries not received due to unavailable network, failed server or other connections, miscommunications, interrupted, misrouted or scrambled transmissions or other errors or problems of any kind whether mechanical, human, electronic or otherwise. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected entries or for any failure of the website during the Giveaway Entry Period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail entry to be received by Sponsor due to technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, of any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material related to the Giveaway. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend this Giveaway should a virus, bug or other cause beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor corrupt the security or proper administration of the Giveaway. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Giveaway is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.

WINNING: On or about February 28, 2018, twenty (20) winners will be chosen at random from among the eligible entries.  Winners will be announced via direct message on Instagram and will be asked to email their address to [email protected]. If Sponsor does not receive your mailing address by March 7th, a new winner will be randomly generated, and you will forgo your prize.  Entries become the sole property of Fine Gardening. Odds of winning will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received.

CLAIMING YOUR PRIZE: The winners must sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release within ten (10) days of notification or the prize may be forfeited. The winners will also be required to provide proof of age. (Tennessee residents will not be required to sign a Publicity Release as a condition of winning a prize; Vermont residents will not be required to provide return postage).

Winners will receive the first magazine in their subscription to Fine Gardening Magazine within 90 days.  A one-year subscription to Fine Gardening Magazine is six (6) issues.

TERMS/CONDITIONS: The prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.  No substitutions will be allowed for the prize awarded except by the Sponsor, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be substituted.

Employees, officers, and contractors (including immediate family members and members of the same household) of Sponsor, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, distributors, dealers, retailers, vendors of Sponsor, and all other entities associated with this Sponsor and/or with this promotion, are not eligible.

This Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, associated or administered by Instagram. By entering into this contest, you release Instagram for any and all responsibility relating to the 2018 Fine Gardening Magazine Subscription Giveaway sponsored by Fine Gardening Magazine @FineGardening on Instagram.

By participating, Entrants agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Giveaway Sponsor and its respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents from and against any claims made by winners, entrants, or any other third parties, related in any way to the operation of this Giveaway as well as any other claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize or participation in any Giveaway-related activity or participation in this Giveaway.

TAXES:  Except where prohibited, all federal, state, and/or local tax liabilities, including but not limited to luxury, sales, and income, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner.
