Mildew Resistant Varieties

LSweeney_moderator | Posted in Mid-Atlantic Gardening on

In Maryland, the summertime high humidity creates an ideal environment or fungal issues like powdery and downy mildew on a plants like zinnias, squash, cucumbers, and basil among others. This year I tried a resistant basil variety (Prospera, ordered from Johnny’s Selected Seeds) and it’s doing great so far. Does anyone have other recommendations for disease resistant vegetable, herb, or flower varieties that they love?
