Favorite Plants for Holiday Decorations

Do you have any favorite plants to use for holiday decorations indoors and out? What greens do you like to use for containers outside? Do you appreciate the usual offerings for indoors like those little lavender and rosemary trees, poinsettias, and Persian cyclamen or do you have some more uncommon go-to plants to make your home festive?

I like to use nandina berries in outdoor containers to approximate holly berries.
