Regional February Garden To-Do Lists

February is typically not a very active time in the garden. Between the threat of snow and the frozen ground, gardeners often spend their time thinking, dreaming, and planning for warmer months to come. Have you ordered your seed catalogs? If not, it’s time to do so. It’s also time to start pruning in some of the warmer areas of the country. If you’re still going to be battling winter for some time, consider forcing branches to give yourself a little color to see you through.
