Garden Photo of the Day

Herbs in pots are simple and stunning

From the same garden as yesterday, outside Detroit, Michigan, this little tableau proves that you don’t need fancy plants or crazy combinations to create a pleasing container display. This one features just a few pots of classic herbs (and a small grass) clustered on a tabletop. It’s timeless, and will look good all season long with minimal fuss.

Herbs/spices are some of my favorite things to grow! Though my rosemary never looks as good as the one in this picture.

I've done a herb garden in single pots & also done them all together in a large pot. Where I live I can leave them in the ground all year around. Southern California,San Diego has the perfect weather for growing almost everything!!!
