These herbaceous perennials exhibit flowers reminiscent of roses, the plant family to which they belong.  Flowers in shades of cream, yellow, orange, and pink with frothy stamens appear early in the season and, in many species, rebloom throughout the summer. Some are perfect for the border’s edge, others, for the rock garden.  G. triflorum is native to North America.

CareMost prefer fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. Some show drought tolerance.
