Rainy Days in NorCal

| Posted in Pacific Northwest Gardening on

Rainy days have been causing havoc in my garden – particularly with the soil not being able to drain fast enough.  The biggest problem is with containers that just can’t drain quickly enough – with my containerized succulents and cacti suffering the most.  One large fencepost cactus (in the photo) got totally rotted out in its big pot and is barely clinging to life.  But, the weather has led to some outstanding rainbows!  How is everybody else doing out there?
