Lest you think there are no flowers… I have this bad habit, I know, of choosing a lot of very green photos for the GPOD, and looking over the last two weeks of photos from Les Quatre Vents, I realize that I’ve done it again. So to finish off this series from one of the best gardens in the world, here’s a selection of photos of perennial beds around the property that are bursting with color. Enjoy!
**All last week and this week, we’ve been featuring photos of the gardens at Les Quatre Vents, the home of Frank and Anne Cabot in Quebec. If you’d like read more about this garden, check out this interview with Frank Cabot that ran in the April 2005 issue of Fine Gardening. Frank also whote a book about the garden. You can get it on Amazon here.**

Beautiful, I love looking at the other photos but I always get great ideas for my borders from the flower photos. Now if I could only get my hostas to look like those.
The photos have been nice, but I think it is time we move on. How about to Bellingrath Gardens in Mobile, Ala.
Lovely again, what an amazing variety of spaces and vistas in this garden, I hope to visit it with my husband. It's so nice that you haveshowcased a garden in Canada, we have many lovely ones to visit. How about further afield, Europe has a wealth of wonderful gardens, my favourite, I think is the famous Sissinghurst in Kent, England.
Thanks again for this lovely series, I definitely have to have the book, I'm putting it on my Christmas List.
Hi Michelle,
Have to say, I enjoyed the last 2 weeks, some fantastic pictures! But loved today's with all the blossoming flowers!
Was just wondering if there were some way that if you were to click on the larger picture, you would find a descriptions of the plant material used? I am definitely a visual learner and would love to know more names of plants! Thank you.
Thanks Michelle. The photos from Les Quatre Vents have filled my head with possibilities. Have a good weekend everyone.
