Good morning, Maria, Thanks for sharing from England! The land of great gardens and gardeners. Yours is beautiful and not one weed! Beautiful lawn! Love the golden chain tree!

Gorgeous garden and, like Jeff said...oh, those "crisp" edges..they provide such elegant framing for your beds of sumptuous bushes and flowers.

Maria, do you take care of that garden yourself? Do you live in a castle with a gardening staff? Your photos are what dreams are made of! I agree with Jeff about those edges. Dreamy.....

Hi Maria, thanks for showing those lovely long views of your gardens. Loved the closeup shot of the Hydrangeas. Would like to see more of your plant combinations up close. What is your hardiness zone and your soil type? Your grass is so lush and green. Do you water your lawn? Here in Maryland lawns get brown when there is no rain in later July and August. I only water my gardens not the lawn. Your lush green space really sets off the gardens. Thanks for sharing with your cousins across the pond!

Beautiful borders, luscious lawn, amazing stones, great sculptures and a pond: pretty gorgeous! I love the little stone garden with the agaves. Are they in temporary homes or can they winter out of doors. I also love the silver-leaved plant behind the red petunias. Is that a Brachyglottis?

So very English with the beautiful lawn mowed strips, everything neat and tidy yet overflowing with interest. Town gardens are beautifully protected and this is a real sanctuary. And I now feel most horribly homesick. Thank you Maria for sending your photos, I have certainly enjoyed every one. I love the playful little stone patch and your whimsical collection of "stuff". Your garden is clearly an extension of the house and one which is lived in. Congratulations.

Maria, you've got gorgeous everything going on in your gardens... perennials, annuals, tropicals and desert plants, you've got it all in an eye pleasing package!

Wow, what a beautiful garden! So lush, neat and orderly. Your grass is like a carpet and sets off the borders perfectly. Very well done!

Maria your garden is beautiful. A slice of Old England where there are so many wonderful gardens. Lush borders and the lovely pond set it all off. Isn't it fun that we can travel the world's gardens from our armchairs. Would love to know some history of your home and where you are situated.

Beautiful gardens, love the way you have the edging and grass.

Oh, my! Just lovely. And so interesting with such a wide variety of plantings, colors, structures, garden art... I do believe we need more photos! Thanks so much for sharing!

This is such a perfect English town garden, probably protected by walls and blessed with ample English rain. The crisp edging of the beautifully planted beds is classic, but the whimsy is all your own. Thank you for this very special treat, Maria!
