Barbara Weirich’s husband is a metal fabricator, and he created this privacy screen for her garden in Benton Harbor, Michigan. It’s at the end of a long, narrow alleyway in her garden, and camouflages a utility pole in the background. She reinforced its linear nature with spiky horsetails, and echoed its deep, rusty color with nearby ornamental grasses and towering burgundy castor beans.

That pretty cool, makes a great backdrop. And one big advantage of having that gorgeous rusty colour is that you don't need to worry about rust or paint!
Beautiful!!
Oh! I so love this! I have a certain area that I want a fence put in to block a nasty view and this would work perfectly! I love the metal and the coloring. My desire is to get a plasma cutter! You did a wonderful job on the design as well. Are they individual pieces or is it one piece that has been folded or welded? I like the castor bean in the background, too. And of course the main beauty is the effect of verticalness with the horsetail an metal! Oh thanks for sharing!
