This is my favorite rose---beautiful color, fragrence, grows prolifically. I have not had any problems with this rose but it is in an area with lots of space for air circulation.

I grew Zephirine Drouhin climber in western North Carolina( zone 8) and it was beautiful. I live in central Florida now and want to try my hand at growing this beautiful thornless rose down here. I haven't received my rose yet but am anxious to get it started climbing on my arbor. Linda, Florida Zone 9

ZD is a great rose. It works as a large shrub or a climber. It is fragrant and beautiful. It does need good air circulation to avoid blackspot.

love love love the heady smell of this rose, but can't stand the mildew, rust, black spot and insect susceptibility of this "shade" rose. full sun is probably the way to go. the color isn't my favorite.
