Laura Trowbridge

Laura Trowbridge is a garden designer who lives in Peterborough, New Hampshire, and works primarily on the gardens of historic homes. Her own extensive gardens, developed over the past 35 years, have been included in the Garden Conservancy’s Open Days program. She gives lectures to garden clubs about how gardeners can incorporate more annuals and tropicals into their gardens. Her passion for annuals leads her to change her gardens significantly from year to year, and every spring she drives to nurseries all over New England to buy new and exotic plants. In August 2022, Laura and her husband hosted their son’s black-tie wedding in their gardens, less than a week before a Fine Gardening photo shoot.
