When you first glance at these photos of some frogs at the Tyler Arboretum outside Philadelphia, you might not think there’s anything out of the ordinary, but look again… Their eyes are level with my waist! They were scattered here and there beyond the vegetable garden fence, and I could not stop snapping shots of them. I REALLY want one for my garden…

I wonder how the frogs in my garden would react to those. They are so beautiful.

If they were small they would just be kind of cute... but waist high? Now that's down right awesome!!!

now michelle, let's get serious for a moment and work on finding you a source! For a while now, various (don't know how many)cities around the U.S. have had festivals where artists are sponsored by local businesses to do a treatment of an animal sculpture(pigs in seattle; cows in chicago; cod in boston; catfish in __Mississippi; bears in Belfast ME; lobsters in Rockland ME; moose in Bennington,VT)and those scuptures are placed around the city, with various auctions etc taking place around those art pieces.( We have two bears from the Belfast Bear Fest of 2000; you can see photos of them on our website!)

SO i'm guessing that there must be a few manufacturers who specialize in making these heavy duty molded forms just for festivals like these. You see where i'm going here.... But i bet the easiest thing to do would be to contact Tyler Arboretum and ask for their vendor's name, and contact said vendor and see if you can get in on the tail of somebody else's big order.
all that and you were probably just joking...!
    best,

I think you've got it Mindy!

They did full size horses in our local town for charity, and they have buffaloes in Buffalo NY, of course.

    Hello,

I was wondering if any of you had any leads on PR or newspaper articles about this Cowpainters' project or any other Cowpainters projects you know of?
Any leads would be highly appreciated! Thanks

    Greetings
