New York Botanical Garden orchid show

I’ve reached that point in the winter of direly needing some flora immersion and the NYBG orchid show delivered everything required: wafting fragrance, humidity, earthy goodness, and of course abundant color. They depend very heavily on phalaenopsis for the show, but they also had some neat-o new world orchids on display, in keeping with the Mexican theme. I hope you enjoy my pictures!

Hi Chloe! I just got home from working at the Northwest Flower and Garden Festival for 5 days. My feet are tired, but my heart is full, and the brain is working overtime to process all the beauty of beautiful tulips, daffodils, hellebores, etc. that were on display. It was the perfect February "pick me up."

No, just enjoyed the work of everyone else —and it was glorious. I was there to introduce speakers.
