Late bloomers

Chloe_Moderator | Posted in Northeast Gardening on

What are your favorite late blooming plants? I’m happy to welcome the season of gentians, asters, and anemones. Blue mistflower (eupatorium coelestinum) is in full bloom here and buzzing loudly with bees. Sometimes the flowers last long enough to complement our Connecticut fall colors, but I’m not sure that will work out this year. Still, they look great with the hydrangea!
