Lisa Negri is the founder and caretaker of SummerHome Garden, a unique pocket park in Denver’s heavily developed Washington Park neighborhood. She was CEO of an environmental engineering company for 20 years and believes that small local projects can help move the needle toward curbing climate change. She uses SummerHome as a teaching tool to spread the word about native and climate-adapted plants, rewilding outdoor spaces, and building ecosystems that welcome birds, bugs, dogs, and peace-seeking humans. When not speaking or giving garden tours, you’ll find Lisa mentoring business professionals and walking her rescue dogs, Willy and Marge.
