Wow, the garden art is coming out of the woodwork! Today’s home-made ornaments are from Trina Koushmaro in Woodland, California. Trina says, “I found these plastic buoys washed up on the beach in central California. I thought it would be fun to reuse them in some creative way. So I decided to make them into frogs for my garden pond.

“I painted them with outdoor acrylic paint, and made a red line for the wide mouth. I found marbles for the eyes that actually fit tightly in the loops on the top. But just to be safe, I used my glue gun to secure them. After completion, the frogs came to life! I can’t help smiling when I see them in the garden.” So cute, Trina!

OK, guys, I’m going back to full garden posts tomorrow…I know some of you get impatient with these themes! 🙂

Perrrrfect! Perrrrfect!
These are just adorable. Wish I had a beach for things to wash up on and the imagination to take them in hand and make something this cute.
Adorable...I would be immensely pleased if they were my idea and creation!

I think every garden should have a pair of these. I know just where they would fit into mine. How fun!
