Genus:  Achillea
This rhizomatous, mat-forming, upright, aggressive perennial produces strong red flowers in flat corymbs in summer atop finely-textured, aromatic foliage.
Care:  Provide well-drained soil in full sun. Will tolerate light shade but flowers will be diminished and plants may flop.
Propagation:  Sow seed in situ or divide plant in spring. Divide regularly to maintain vigor
Problems:  Aphids, powdery mildew, rust.
