"After a cold and snowy winter, the 2015 spring and summer have been wet in our part of Kentucky, and the plants have loved it. The garden has never bloomed longer or more beautifully. We were on the Elizabethtown Garden Club tour on June 28, and had close to 200 people visit our garden. We really enjoyed sharing our garden with other fellow gardeners."

Bob & Maryann your garden is so beautiful. You have mastered the art of color in the shade! I will share this will my friends who whine about not being able to grow beautiful plants in shade. Well, Bob and Mary Ann, your garden definitely looked like it put on its best party dress to receive and wow your guests. All your hosta are so lush and vibrant...the variegated ones positively sparkle with liveliness. I'm sure all your visitors were delighted to get the opportunity to walk around and marvel at such a beautifully presented garden with so many pleasing pops of color and interesting objects of ornamentation. Oh my goodness, between the hostas and the color display, I've got googly eyes. Way to tackle the shade, and somehow defend against voles. Are there no voles in Kentucky either? Bob and Mary Ann, your garden is so exuberant. I wish I could have been on the tour. So thank you for sharing.
