Today’s GPOD is from Cathy Gemkow of Stanwood, Washinton:

"Hello, I love to garden and create all kinds of different spaces in my yard. I have built with re-purposed wood, granite, fallen trees and just about anything I can find. I am an artist who loves to work with her hands."

The gazebo was built in 2006 with cedar branches from a winter storm.

This is the inside of the gazebo. The furniture is vintage from an estate sale and other items inside were bought cheap. I put in vintage stained glass for windows and a vintage working chandelier. Birds make homes here in the spring.

Have a garden you'd like to share? Email 5-10 high-resolution photos (there is no need to reduce photo sizing before sending—simply point, shoot and send the photos our way) and a brief story about your garden to GPOD@taunton.com. Please include where you're located!

Sending photos in separate emails to the GPOD email box is just fine.
