One last day of photos from Guida Quon’s garden in Santa Ana, California. Today, check out Guida’s impressive collection of succulents, as well as the opposite side of the container-gardening spectrum–some water gardens! She even has a couple of miniature landscapes thrown into the mix. Be sure to click on all the photos on the left so you don’t miss a thing.

Thanks so much for sharing your garden with us, Guida. It’s very cool, and I wish I could explore it in person!

As i looked through all the vignettes yesterday and then today, it became ever clearer that a robust sense of humor was in full swing. When i got to the charming Victorian lawnchair, the chuckles came forth. That NEEDS to be on the cover of a gardening magazine or book!Brilliant!

    Hi Mindy and Petuniababi,
I'm such a serious soul, my fun in the garden is sweet.....it's a dreamland to me, ever since I was a girl raking leaves into make-believe houses in the woods in Ohio with my cousin......here's the living room, here's the bedroom, let's see, the kitchen over here.....but the best was trying to dam up the tiny little creek.....ah engineers at play...it lasts a lifetime. I'm glad I had the opportunity for such....and still do!

I am wondering what the plant is that has the large beige flower on the last picture. I know it is a succulent and I had a beauty a few years ago, but it died out somewhere along moving to a new house. Sure wish I could find another. The flower is absolutely striking (makes you feel like you are an outstanding gardener to get such a flower!).
