Wow I love how the red just pops out at you. I am definitely trying the Bleeding hearts this year. That photo explains the name to perfection. I have Daffodils and Hyacinth up here in NC and the tulips are peeking out as well. Thanks for the photos.
I think these flowers are an eye opener its nice to see color again. I feel that today we should pay more attention to wild flowers! in doing this we are helping out the beautiful things in life, butterfly's,Hummingbirds,and others wild life in our own yards and in its natural state. In doing this we are persevering nature at its finest.

Truly lovely. So many things in bloom at once, blending colours beautifully. Anyone know the names of the peonies? How about the allium? Are they 'Purple Sensation'? I'd love to replicate the grouping. And is it Scilla hyacinthoides contrasting with the creamy white peony?
Gorgeous peonies! I have visited Chanticleer but not in peony season so these photos are a treat. Thank you! Meanwhile, over 70 inches of snow here and still counting....
Country Cousin: the creamy yellow peony is a "tree" peony even though it is probably only 3-4 ft high. Can't definitely identify the red herbaceous peony but "America", "Scarlett O'Hara", and "Illini Warrior" all resemble it.
WOW! I just love the color scheme. The groupings are well selected also. Makes me want to have Spring right now.
