Beautiful! And what imaginative names to go along with the many varieties offered.
Anyone who grows flowers or vegetables in the Pacific Northwest is cheating. The weather and soil conditions are too nice. Whenever I see a great garden in a magazine or book, my first instinct is that its in Oregon, Washington, or B.C.

To wwross: We Pacific Northwest gardeners do enjoy a mild gardening climate similar to that of the British Isles, but we also have to contend with hordes of ravaging slugs and snails, quirky weather coming at us from the Pacific in all four seasons, and glacial soil that has brought us tons of rocks, beach-like sand, and impenetrable clay. Compost is our friend! Growing tomatoes has been a particular challenge this summer, which arrived late after a prolonged cool, wet spring. But I wouldn't live anywhere else!
