Re: READER PHOTOS! A living table in Oregon
What a lovely way to have lunch in the garden-- or brunch-- or just coffee -- love it.

The patio with table and chairs looks just right for morning coffee and croissants! I collect and water with rain water also. Makes gardening much more challenging when you don't have an abundant sorce. The bench by the tree looks like such a peaceful place to sit and rest or read. You have created a lovely garden Ana, well done.

So lush and green looking -- the many shades of green, blue, chartreuse give such interesting depth to your garden. What a wonderful oasis to spend time in.

I would rather have colorful blooms than monotone green lawn.

I looked at this book review again and it reinforced my desire to build a pond...bog garden.....waterfall....no mow area this season...now all I have to come up with the time and energy to do it. The water feature in the preview is amazing.

I have been creating a large no mow area with bark mulch paths in a horse shoe shape with a paving stone patio in the center and lots of roses mixed in with perennials in the beds on either side of the paths. Its a great idea and when I'm finished hopefully less maintenance.
