I think this is Galium ordoratum or Sweet woodruff, It has white flowers in the spring.

Looks to be a perennial lobelia or cardinal flower. They also come in red, where the common name comes from.

I would love to look at a garden instead of lawn. Besides saving money on lawn care, it has to be better for the environment.

My garden has evolved over the years and I love to experiment with different plant combinations. Gardening book, magazines and an occasional visit to the local botanical gardens have given me the most inspiration.This book would definitely give me more ideas.
