Re: The American Meadow Garden : Win A Free Copy of John Greenlee's Book!
I have a bank behind the house with woods just behind the flat spot on the top. The soil is clay that bakes hard like cement in the sun.
posted: 5:21 am on July 20thA meadow garden would be perfect on the flat spot. There are deer and other wildlife in the woods and a plethora of birds. I love the idea of sustainability in a meadow without spending hours water, pruning, etc. Wouldn't it be perfect to have an eco-system that provided for minimal or no waste of our natural resources.
This book sounds like a must have and an excellent Christmas gift. We need more environmentally sound ideas like this!
Thank you.
