i have been gardening for ever, planting customer pots is my favorite thing to enjoy their responses is priceless,being creative with plant materials. i love different applications of with many varieties of plant and unusual products. i have saved every issue of fine gardening i've ever purchased. someday i will enter the container contest. love to hear and experience different peoples ideas on gardening, plants etc.

i have made these leaves with rhubarb on a pile of sand,then the leaf, then cover with cement dry, then turn over and peel the leaf out of the grooves and wowow you have a shallow water holder for birds, butterflies etc. you can set it right on the ground. i put a water sealer on mine to protect from the elements and also so stains won't set in the cement, you can also put dye in the cement to color them, there is no end to the effects you can do. i first saw this in Garden Gate mag. and have always kept it for reference, i make them for anxiously awaiting gifts every summer please try one they are great and impressively beautiful since the leaves are natures' beauties.
