Re: Domo Arigato, Mr. Roboto

My KINGDOM for a mow-bot, edging included. If there is one menial task I mind taking care of, it would be that. And I don't care so much about the grass getting long--but then it starts to grow into my flowerbeds, and that I cannot abide.

Re: Let a clematis scramble

I know Mindy Arbo! I have seen this combo in real life. It is real, and it IS spectacular!

Re: This plant's future is in your hands...

KEEP! Chop it off and the ground and let it come back! It's funny you mention this today, because I'm posting something about that exact thing for today's Garden Designers Roundtable. ;-)

Re: What plant(s) did you kill this year?

This is too funny... And NOW I feel like I've gotten more of a sense of what a bunch of you are like in person. Nice job, guys!

Favorite new things: this changes day to day, but I'm going with Rubus cockburnianus 'Aureus' and a baby Aralia cordata I got as passalongs from a friend.

Killed: other passalongs, a mountain laurel and a quince. Oops!
