Hello, I am new to having a big yard.  We have just recently had a side deck and patio put in and now to do some landscaping.  I am really struggling with this and would love any advise from expect...

Hi Parb, Thanks for the tips. I am in Ontario Canada. The type of plants I tend to like are plants the have different shades of green ( ie. the colour of a blue spruce next to a emerald cedar ) and plants that look tidy and easy to manage. I am planning to put a pondless waterfall in the far back left corner of the patio with some plants around it. What type of shrubs would you put in front of the black cedars that are along the back fence line ?
