Shade loving lily like?

Several of these have voluntarily popped up in a couple of shady spots in my garden. Western CT, acid soil. 4mm thick stem with few dark green, veined leaves, lily-ish? Ht = approx 6-8" currently...

This bush? grew from a 3-4" ground level stump that was left by the previous home owners when an oak fell on this mystery bush so it could have been a large shrub or small tree. It has grown to 34...

oenothera biennis? I have another oenothera (fruticosa, I think) also in flower at the same time as this monster.
