Just moved to an acreage 2 years ago. It's hard to imagine all the possibilities that can be done here. I'm just new to the gardening game, and I love it. It's the only real and peaceful time for me. Winters are long. The only glimmer of light is, I have all winter (6 months) to plan my strategy for next summer. I'm hoping someday it will be a show piece.

Honestly I have no idea what I'm doing when I put plants together. I definately read alot of books and magazines to get some inspiration. The only tip I have is, believe in newspaper. I use it in my beds to keep weeds down. It works better than lanscaping fabric, because nothing can grow on top of it. I've used both.
