Autumn with romance and colors in Dallas, TX

My front flower beds. In Dallas the fall comes later than other parts of teh country. So far we still have a lot of beautiful colorful flowers and so much green. TX

Coneflower and Roses

I took this picture on November 4th. I love the contrast on the dyeing Coneflower already gone to seed and in the background the Roses are ready to bloom. TX

Autumn in Texas

Finally the fall is here. These pictures were taken last year at the end of November. All of a sudden the leaves dropped and alll those beautiful yellow and red colors appear. Now my garden will go...

Fall border

Not everybody gets the red or yellow leaves of the Autumn, here in Dallas we get a lot of colors from the flowers and the leaves are still green (this picture was taken on October 25th): zinnias...

After the rain

After all the rain we had at the beginning of this fall season finally I can see all the green leaves and colors of my plants: Coneflowers, Zinnias, Blue Sage ... TX

Romance in Autumn

This is one of my favorite area in the back yard. You can see that the leaves are staring to turn color and that the Texas Marigold ae blooming. Fall is finally coming. TX

My back yard in the Autumn

This is my back yard at the beginning of the Autumn. Here in DFW the fall is very mild and we still have lots of beautiful flowers. Starting with the red Lycoris, Roses, Caladiums and Sage ... TX

Lycoris Radiata or Spider Lily is the first sign that Autumn is coming here in Dallas. It is one of my favorite bulbs. So colorfull. IN the background roses. TX

Everything is gone

Everything in gone. Almost all the leaves have fallen down, a few pansies are starting to pop out, the soil is wet ... but I still love this time of the year. TX

This is the front of my house. It is very strange to see Mums in a combination with Caladiums ... welcome to Texas. On the side Lantana and Knock Out Roses.

Re: Back yard path

This is my Italian inspired back yard. Around teh corner there is a fountain, a wonderful stair of large stepping stones, a gazebo with grapevines and roses and an arbor with antique climbing roses. Also it will not be an Italian garden if I didn't have a very large vegetable garden.
