As an avid gardener, I can't wait to obsolete my lawn mower by creating a meadow, as well as multiple gardens (perennial, rain, herb, cutting, vegetable,etc.). This book certainly seems to contain just the sort of guidance I'll need to get me through the years of design and implementation.
