Re: Scotts Miracle-Gro Stole My Ammo
I've often wondered about the quid pro quo relationship between Scott's and the Garden Writers Association. I've been a GWA member since 2004 and it seems to me Scott's has gotten more and more "member benefits" over the years than I have. Has GWA become the political action committee for Scott's or is it the other way around?

Tom Wagner's 'Green zebra' and Fred Limbaugh's Pittsburgh 'Potato Top' are two of my favorite heirloom tomato varieties. I will also heartily agree with Steve about the sugary goodness of 'Sun Gold,' a cherry we grow yearly.

I don't use any special planning when I pot up my combos. It's usually a willy nilly mix up that either looks great, or gets moved to the back of the garden where it can scare the deer away.
