I love creating! Creativity can seep into everything you do giving you a happy life!! I love creating jewelry, making greeting cards, doing photography, working in my garden, designing clothing, decorating my home, crocheting, etc. There's always a way to make life "sing" and keeping busy thinking about new projects is just as delightful as the hands-on work! Some nights it's hard to sleep as the mind works overtime designing, planning, "shopping", etc. I love working at my church heading up a group called "O-WOWW", meaning Older Women of Wisdom and Worth! We eat out, do crafts, play board games, go on monthly "mystery trips" and visit the local nursing home and do fun things with the residents! I do biblical counseling at my church as well as take part in our 50+ers buffets and meetings. I help write our monthly newsletter also. I paint with oils and currently take classes with an Italian lady who is wonderful and paints beautifully! My friends and I gather for Eucher monthly as well as get together for dining quite often. My son lives with me and he's a hoot! He's funny, hard working and very creative so we mesh well. He works from home and "takes care of me" as my husband passed away about a year ago. I have another son who lives nearby who has a lovely wife and 2 delightful teen-aged children. My grandchildren are wonderful, of course! They're both creative and we love to do things together.......we teach each other! Because I love photography so much, my digital camera is always at hand along with fresh batteries and a 2 gig card! My garden is a delight to photograph as the seasons change and I love to take photos of people at gatherings and later make personal cards for them with their pictures on the front. I'd love to travel to the southwest and photograph and learn more about southwest jewelry making! Wow! I hope I have enough time to do all the wonderful things I envision! This is basically my life and as long as the Lord give me breath, I'll life it to the full!!

My "Keep busy and lose weight" garden!!
My garden is never "planned" but evolves with time as I come across a lovely plant, intriguing statue or get the urge to dig a small pond in the middle of our yard! Body aches and pains seem...

These views are wonderful, and indeed like the view from the wardrobe exit!!! It so great that beauty can also come in the winter even when we don't have to pluck weeds, mow, etc.! Sort of a wonderful treat for all the work we've done! These photos are fantastic! Thanks for sharing!

I, too, love this as a winter plant!! I'm going to put large hanging pots of this on my huge deck this summer instead of the regular expensive ferns! Then, when winter comes, I'll have everlasting beauty through the year! I look out my french doors now and see into my garden where I have a pot of asparagus fern hanging, looking lovely, surrounded by snowcapped plants. Beauty can be a 4-season affair!!

Hello! You are, indeed, blessed to do the very thing your heart desires! Your clients must be thrilled with your work for them, not to mention the children in that incredible garden setting where they can read and dream!

What a wonderful garden you've created! Casual, yet beautiful! Your love of gardening shows, and there have been many hours spent out there giving of yourself for the sake of beauty!

Thanks, Gracepete! We not only do our gardening for ourselves, but need to share what we've done! I have this membership from "Slenderform" from 1964 and rarely use it. Now the gardening takes care of exercising, for sure!
