Re: Can you identify this plant?

Monkshood can be EXTREMELY TOXIC if eaten, so be careful if you have kids or pets who are curious enough to taste things!

Re: Clueless

Filipendula Ulmaria is correct... I have this it is in bloom right now (late June), but the foliage stays nice all summer. It likes partial/full shade and moist soil.

Re: Can anyone tell me what this is?

It sure looks like Dame's Rocket (my grandmother and mother call it Sweet Rocket) and it's only invasive if you let it go to seed, so deadhead as soon as it's done!

Re: Mom's mystery plant

Definitely a hollyhock and not Lady's Mantle. I have both growing from seed, so I am 100% sure about this!

Re: help what perennial is this

"Gaura" (note that this is the correct spelling if you want to look it up) has many different varieties that have different hardiness zones. They also seem to be VERY particular about drainage, which may be what kills them. I buy them as an annual to put in containers!
