Cats In the Garden

Our cats prefer sleeping in the gardens to just about anywhere! Now... if theycould only weed!!

Hamamelis mollis "Pallida"

These are the earliest signs of bloom in my Massachusetts zone 5 garden. After a Spring like fabulous weekend, we were hit with a snowfall on the 9th of March, mostly melted by today!

Re: READER PHOTO! Falling Snowflake, Cedar Waxwing

Charlotte, The waxwings prefer smaller crabapples, as do most birds,
maybe yours is one that sets larger fruit? Also, they prefer the fruit slightly
fermented, so we see them eating them later in the winter here in Massachusetts.

Eddie looks so much like my cat Woody who recently passed. He was always
helping in the garden, like Eddie seems to be doing! Cats are the best quiet
companions!

What a gorgeous shepard she was! I too have lost all but one of my cats, who
