A first year Paulownia tree grows fast with leaves the size of dinner plates. A mature tree resembles a catalpa, without the "cigars", and with beautiful clusters of lavender blooms in the springtime. Given its location, if that's what this is,I'd have to consider it a weed. Unless you want a newer house. ;o)
