Re: Need Some Help Identifying This Plant (Once Again)

Thank you.

I looked up Euphorbia, and found the Euphorbia heterophylla to be a very good match.

Thank you so very much. Your help is very much appreciated.

Re: Peru plants most at Machu Picchu. Need to know what they are.

The last one is definitely in the Begonia family, but I couldn't tell ya which specific name or variety.

Re: Need Some Help Identifying This Plant

Hello starhill
Thanks for the photo comment. The camera is a Nikon D60 digital camera. It came with a 18 - 55 mm zoom lens attached to it.
I live in Southeast Texas (zone 9), and freezes are rare here also. Looks like this year we are in for a few of them, especially this week on into the weekend. I covered my porch with very heavy plastic, put in a heater, and am trying to keep my plants as warm as possible through this winter (until I get my greenhouse built).

Re: I Have Another Oddity That I Need Help Identifying

Thank you very much, Grant. Your help has been invaluable. I did check out several photos of salvia, and this is indeed a salvia. It looks identical to the Salvia coccinea (Hummingbird Sage) that I found.

Thank you for the photography comments. It's the camera - I just point and shoot. I have a lot of pretty neat photos of plants that I have. When I got my new camera (about a year ago), I started taking pictures of everything in sight to try and figure out how to use the darn thing.

If there's anything I can do for you, please don't hesitate to ask. You have helped me out a bunch.

Thanks, and have a GREAT DAY!
