Re: pretty flower, but grows like crazy
I believe this a "wild geranium." I have not found them to be very invasive. If they grow where they aren't wanted, simply pull them.

This is Trillium, often called "wake robin" and I believe I have heard it referred to as "bloody nose," certainly a bad name for a beautiful plant. As a teacher facing misspelled words for 25 years, especially this one, I invite the wrter of the first comment to TRY to find the word "alot" in a dictionary. You won't find it. There is the word, allot meaning to give a share. The correct spelling is "a lot." Otherwise this was a well written explanation for this plant. Where I grew up, they were common in in the white phase.
