This plant is so cool! The flowers look like they could be little orchid flowers.
I have had this plant for five years. The first couple years, it seemed to need more water to get established. I had one year where the leaves burnt at the tips. But, now that it is established, I water about once a week. And the foliage is lush green. My toad lily patch, is growing in a bed, that is on the outer canopy of a, Silver Maple tree. And has Leptinella squalida, syn. Cotula squalida, growing underneath it. And is growing next to Chasmanthium latifolium.

A beautiful plant, however, last year I had trouble with rust and I had to severely trim the plant. Sadly I lost all flower buds. I have been trying to find out what caused the rust and what I can do to avoid it happening again this year. Unfortunately I have not come up with any answers yet.
