easy to grow and very pretty and great smell
beautiful flowers, theyve been my favorite for about 8 years and i fall in love everytime i have some fresh ones in my house.
Lilium was a mainstay of my perennial garden until the Lily Beetle arrived [from Europe] in the northeast in early 1990s and began to eat Lilium, Fritillaria, and other plants in that family. The beetle has migrated westward and will eventually cover the continent. Unless one is determined to spray, a once-useful plant has lost much of its value.
