Care: Moist, fertile, well-drained soil.
Propagation: Divide plants in late summer or early spring.
Problems: Slugs and snails. In containers, watch for vine weevil. Also viruses and foliar nematodes.

'Patriot' always looks crisp and attractive. It is one of the best of the white-margined, green leaf Hosta.
