Thelypteris kunthii

Thelypteris is a large genus of 500 or so species of deciduous, terrestrial ferns from swamps and bogs around the world. The pinnate fronds are lance-shaped and have sori on their undersides. They spread from creeping rhizomes. Use in a moist border or at waterside.

CareTolerates most any moist, moderately fertile soil in full sun or partial shade.

PropagationDivide in spring or summer, or sow spores at 59°F as soon as ripe.
