This large group of ferns is grown in the woodland, border, rock garden, and under glass. Generally, Blechnum have fertile, narrow fronds, which are erect, and sterile, broad fronds, which lie flat to the ground.

Care: Grow in moist, acidic soil in humid, partial to full shade. Indoors, give filtered or indirect light and moderate humidity.
