I found it came back the second year. Love that it blooms such a long time and with such nice big blooms.

I've had difficulty with coreopsis. In part sun it is spindly and seldom lasts more than two seasons. In full sun I've had to plant it at several depths to make any grow.

I grow (central Texas)Coreopsis in a morning shade, late morning to sundown western, very sunny xeriscaped bed. All the plants in the bed require little water. The Coreopsis has come back each Spring beautifully. Clipping dead flowers to increase future flowering is the only maintenance required.

This grows nicely in my area. Doesn't require too much maintenance.
