I live in southern Ontario, Canada and have had this climber for about 10 years. It is now 12 feet high growing on an arbour in sun most of the day. The variation of leaf colour from green, white and pink within the same leaf is spectacular in late spring. It remains sheltered in a south facing backyard but is out in the open and does tolerate quite a bit of wind. There are delicate white flowers formed on some branches which later produce small fruits, I imagine they would grow larger in a warmer climate.
