Huge yellow beards on black purple, cup- shaped falls. Dark purple standards are only a shade lighter. Sweet fragrance.

Care: 

Prefers nutritious, well-drained soil, full sun. Low Nitrogen fertilizer one month prior to bloom and one month post-bloom. Trim foliage in the Fall. Information provided by Schreiner’s Iris Gardens.
