Genus:  Dichondra
Long silvery stems, sometimes reaching 4 feet or more, bear silvery, small leaves. Use this striking plant as a groundcover or in containers.
Noteworthy Characteristics:  D. argentea is native to desert regions of the southwestern U.S. It is drought tolerant.
Care:  Provide full sun and well-drained soil.
Propagation:  Start from seed in spring.
